2、切忌将手指塞进患者口内，否则会咬伤你的手指。可能的话，在患者张开口时，塞一块手巾或毛巾在患者上下牙间，防止患者咬伤舌头;

3、切忌强制患者的抽搐，如此不但不可以减少发作的强度。有时还可能由于用力不当，造成患者软组织损伤或骨折。

4、切忌过分掐患者人中，以免造成局部组织损伤;大多数患者的发作强度会自行减弱，逐渐平息

5、当患者发生强直时，不可嘴对嘴做人工呼吸，由于呼吸肌及腹部肌肉的强直，患者发生呼吸暂停，面唇可能青紫，很容易导致异物使得患者窒息。

6、若患者发作时间超过十五分钟仍不见停止，应该及时送往医院救治;
