1、局限性发作，一般见于大脑皮层有器质性损害的病人表现为一侧口角、手指或足趾的发作性抽动或感觉异常，可扩散至身体一侧。当发作累及身体两侧，则可表现为大发作。

2、成人癫痫发作的临床表现为失神发作时姿势性张力轻度增加，以影响伸肌为主，最常累及眼肌，引起眼球向上凝视。累及范围可进一步扩大到颈部或躯干，导致头向后仰或躯干的后冲性运动。不对称的姿势性强直可导致头或躯干转向一侧。

3、局限性发作，一般见于大脑皮层有器质性损害的病人表现为一侧口角、手指或足趾的发作性抽动或感觉异常，可扩散至身体一侧。当发作累及身体两侧，则可表现为大发作。

4、有的患者会有易激惹、烦躁不安、心境不佳、常挑剔或抱怨他人等现象大发作前数秒钟内，患者可以出现错觉、幻觉、自动症、局部肌阵挛或其它特殊感觉等，甚至发生听觉、嗅觉、味觉先兆的，而具有焦虑、压抑、惊恐等情绪先兆比较多，恐惧是最常见的一种。

5、意识丧失，四肢抽搐，口吐白沫，肌肉抽搐，等等，有的还会出现头晕头痛，有的还会出现腹痛呕吐等，但是，这些癫痫的症状都是暂时的发作表现，在患者进入恢复期清醒后，会一如常人，癫痫发作在年龄段上没有明显的区别，任何年龄段的患者都有可能患上癫痫。
