2、儿童失神癫痫病的临床表现：发病年龄3-10岁。男女之比约为2：3。发作时表现为突然中断正在进行的活动，茫然呆视，意识丧失。如正在走路可突然站立不动，呆若木鸡，问话不能回答。一般持续数秒，不超过1分钟。发作频繁，每日数十次至上百次。患儿智力发育正常，神经系统检查无明显异常。

3、儿童失神癫痫病的诊断：主要根据典型的临床表现和脑电图特征。脑电图表现为正常背景上双侧同步的3Hz的棘慢波综合。

4、儿童失神癫痫病的治疗：根据病情可选用丙戊酸、拉莫三嗪、托吡酯、氯硝西泮等。

5、儿童失神癫痫病的预后：预后良好，但30%-40%青春期可发生全面性强直-阵挛发作。

与儿童失神癫痫病相比青少年失神癫痫的发病年龄在青春期左右，与儿童失神癫痫相比其发作频率小得多，平均不足1日1次。80%左右的患者在失神起病前后伴有全面性强直-阵挛发作。治疗原则同儿童失神癫痫病，但预后较儿童失神性癫痫病稍差，有的患者延续到成年期仍有发作。
