鉴于癫痫的遗传特性，且分娩时的难产可能导致的新生儿产伤，产伤是癫痫发病的重要因素之一，所以在怀孕期间，孕妇一定要根据医生建议，定时到医院进行检查，以能为难产的处理造作准备。
