3、失张力性发作：可想象一个原本用线操纵的木偶，突然间线全部断掉的情况。患儿癫痫发作时便象这断线的木偶一样，突然全身无力地倒下。

4、全身性强直-阵挛发作：好好的一个人，突然间大叫一声，便昏迷过去，倒地不醒，同时双眼往上凝视,嘴唇渐渐变紫，不知过了多久，正担心性命是否有救的当儿，抽动瞬间停止，患者随即陷入沉睡之中。以上的描述其实只是癫痫发作众多形式中的一种，也就是较为一般人所熟知的大发作。

5、肌抽搐性发作：此类型较难以言语描述。举例来说，若是我们冷不防被别人从背后大叫一声而吓了一跳，所产生的那种全身抖了一下的动作，就是一种全身性的肌抽搐性发作。
