专家介绍癫痫发作时不一定都有抽搐，严重时会抽搐症状。全身性发作，强制阵挛发作，为临床最常见的发作类型，以意识丧失和全身肌肉强直性收缩为特征，表现为意识丧失，尖叫一声后倒地，全身肌肉强直性收缩，头部后仰，上眼睑抬起，眼球上翻，上肢屈肘，下肢伸直，牙关紧闭，呼吸暂停，唇色青紫，瞳孔散大，对光反应消失约持续10～20秒钟，继而全身肌肉张弛交替阵挛约1分钟，在最后一次强烈痉挛后，抽搐突然停止，口吐白沫，进入昏睡状态，有大小便失禁，约10分钟或3～4小时，随后患者出现意识清醒，但对发作全无记忆。
