①生活护理：生活上要细心照料患儿的饮食起居,尽量避免一切诱发小儿癫痫发作的因素,特别是减少各种感染引起的发热。当患儿体温超过正常体温时,常易引起热性惊厥,诱使小儿癫痫发作。当患儿一旦出现高热时,一定要积极就医治疗,采取降温措施。

②治疗护理：首先医生要对小儿癫痫做出一个明确的诊断,以便根据病因,病情制定出相应的治疗方法。癫痫不仅仅表现为手脚抽搐,还会表现出其他很多类型的发作。如意识模糊,全身僵硬,嘴里吐白沫,牙齿紧闭,不停的点头等等。无论出现那种行的发作。都应该及时到正规医院就诊,根据脑电图等检查,做出明确诊断

③心理护理：心理上家长要接受孩子患病的事实,并且要树立足够的信心来帮助孩子治疗。另外就是让孩子了解自己所患疾病,明白自己的处境,知道如何保护自己,发作时如何求得别人的帮助,让孩子明白自己的疾病病程很长,要坚持按时服药,才能治好自己的病,帮助孩子树立信心,告诉孩子,父母和医生都会帮助他渡过难关。
