3、患者还应根据自己的身体素质，选择适合自己身体恢复的食物，人的体质有实虚之分，虚又有阴虚阳虚之别，气虚血虚之别等，实也有肝郁气火之别，所以医生可以根据患者体质指导其科学饮食。比如肝火旺的人，不要吃辛辣等伤阴动火之物。

4、少吃含锌的食物。医学研究对癫痫患者的血锌浓度检测数据显示，几乎所有的患者血锌含量都比正常人的要高。长期的服用抗癫痫药物之后，体内血锌浓度会有所下降，因此要抑制患者体内锌元素的含量。

5、不要一次性大量饮水。因为间脑的作用是进行人体的水液调节，一次饮用大量水会增加间脑负担，诱发癫痫。另外过量饮水后会造成膀胱过度充盈，从而产生较强的电冲动，诱发神经元异常放电使癫痫发作。
