3、家长在脑外伤癫痫发作时，应立即拨打120急救中心，送医院作进一步诊治。特别是病因末明的首次发作，寻找病因，进行病因治疗最为重要。

4、脑外伤癫痫强直--痉挛发作期间，癫痫护理措施一般注意保持病者自然位置，不宜强力按压，以免造成骨折。这也是癫痫发作时的护理方法。

5、脑外伤癫痫呼吸暂停期间，如患者已停止抽搐，可先清洁口腔分泌物后(切勿用手清洁，以免咬伤手)，再作人工呼吸，避免脑外伤癫痫患者缺氧。
