儿童癫痫病先兆症状，是指儿童失神性癫痫病大发作前数秒钟内，病人出现的错觉、幻觉、自动症、局部肌阵挛或其它特殊感觉等。有些精神运动性发作，也可出现类似大发作的前驱症状。当出现前驱症状时，预示着病人可能在数小时或数日内出现大发作。

小儿癫痫的早期症状主要由儿童神经系统发育不全，大脑皮层受到高热或剧烈的精神刺激，产生过度兴奋引起。儿童癫痫病的前期症状，包括前驱症状和先兆症状。前驱症状是指在大发作前的数日或数小时，儿童出现的全身不适、易激惹、烦燥不安、情绪忧郁、心境不佳、常挑剔或抱怨他人的症状。
