2、癫痫患者可适当增加镁的钙摄入量。需长期药物治疗的癫痫患者，易引起骨质疏松，导致患者身体常缺乏钙和镁。主要存在于：牛奶、乳制品、小米、玉米、红小豆、黄豆、豆腐干、绿色蔬菜、芹菜、牛肝、鸡肉等。

3、不暴饮暴食，辣椒、胡椒、芥末、大蒜等辛辣调料也应适当限量使用。饮食以清淡，易消化食物为主，夏季天气炎热，可以粥类等流食为主。

4、癫痫患者不宜多喝浓茶、咖啡、碳酸饮料，应忌烟酒。

5、夏季天气炎热，患者应控制好饮水量，不宜一次性饮水过多，大量饮水会增加小便次数，稀释血液中药物的浓度，相当于减少了药量，同时，大量饮水导致胃部过度牵张，也易诱发癫痫。患者也不宜吃过多甜食。
