三、小发作或失神性发作：这是全面性发作(发作-开始就涉及整个脑部)，仅伴有轻微症状，包括意识丧失、茫然而视、眼和脸部肌肉短暂抽动，所有这些症状的持续时间，不超过三十秒。这种发作为短暂，而且往往不显着，多半发生得很频密，轻微癫痫的症状包括以上几种。

四、癫痫连续状态：这是全面性或局限性癫痫发作的极端严重形式，其实是非常快速的连串发作，患者有两次发作之间没有意识清醒的时候。这种状态可持续数小时、数天，甚或数周，可以致命，这是一种非常危险的轻微癫痫的症状。
