5.单纯局部癫痫，上述的种类皆属于泛发性发作，也就是发作时意识丧失，和患者说话时皆无反应。但是局部发作时患者的意识清楚，和外界的互动良好。而症状可以是一手或是一脚抽动，或部分的身体有奇怪的感觉等。

6.婴儿点头痉挛，通常是发生在2岁以内的婴儿，在刚睡醒时或将入睡时，会有点头的动作，类似在打瞌睡，不过通常都是连续十几次以上，连躺在床上都可以看得出来，如果动作很大，也会合并躯干弯曲及两手前伸。
