单纯性高热惊厥有以下六个基本要点，宝宝只要有一点不符合，就属于复杂性高热惊厥。

一、年龄——2个月～6岁以内的宝宝高热容易引发惊厥，其中，1～2岁是好发年龄，这个年龄段初次发生高热惊厥的，往往是单纯性居多。而3岁后开始次发病的，复杂性的更多些，转变为癫痫(羊角风)的可能性较大。这是典型的惊厥与癫痫(羊角风)的区别。新生儿高热时抽搐，不叫高热惊厥。宝宝6岁以后，如是单纯性惊厥会自然消失，依旧有惊厥的话，则肯定是复杂性惊厥。

二、体温——癫痫(羊角风)癫痫(羊角风)科的专家指出，宝宝发烧时口腔温度38.5℃以上，发生单纯性高热惊厥的较多;口腔温度38.5℃以下发生的就属于复杂性高热惊厥。无热惊厥即为癫痫(羊角风)。

三、发病的原因——上呼吸道感染、支气管炎、肺炎、尿路感染等，均可引发宝宝高热惊厥，且单纯性与复杂性都有可能。留意，必需与中枢神经系统感染(如化脓性脑膜炎、性脑炎等)引起的惊厥区别，特别是一次发热中反复几次惊厥的宝宝。

癫痫的病因：★心藏神，肾藏精主髓，脾运中焦，肝主疏泄而调畅气机，可见脑与心、肝、肾、脾诸脏功能相关。

★先天因素命门伏邪，或由于父母禀赋或孕产调养不当，胎气受损，或者脏气不平，或者气机逆乱，脏腑功能失调。脾肾虚而生痰，肝气旺而生风。

★痰浊内生饮食不节，过食醇酒肥甘，损伤脾胃，脾失健运，聚湿生痰;或气郁化火，火邪炼津成痰，积痰内伏，一遇诱因，痰浊或随气逆，或因火炎，或随风动，蒙蔽心神心窍，发为痫证，故有“无痰不作痫”说。不洁饮食，虫阻脑窍，因虫而致风动，也是引发痫证之因。

★七情失调主要责之于惊恐。突受大惊大恐，造成气机逆乱，进而损伤脏腑，肝肾受损，则致阴不敛阳而生痰生风。脾胃受损.
