一、癫痫发作后，孩子癫痫的护理呼吸通畅最关键，如果癫痫发作，最重要的是做好以下几个方面，首先一定要冷静，先让孩子躺平，平卧，头向右侧歪斜，另外查一下呼吸是否平稳，防止堵塞呼吸道，如果鼻子里面有分泌物就做一些清除，最主要就是不要慌，保证呼吸道通畅就可以了。

三、保护舌头，抢在患者牙齿未咬合以前，将一块包有纱布的压舌板放在患者的上、下磨牙之间，以防阵挛期将舌头咬破。若不能放上，强直期时，当患者张口时也应放入，到阵挛期不宜放入，压舌板压着舌头还可防止舌后坠堵塞呼吸道。
