第三点：老年人更应该注意身体的保健，随着年龄的增加，老年人的体质变的越来越弱，所以积极预防老年人高血压、动脉硬化而导致的继发性癫痫病。所以更加应该注意老年人的身体保健。

第四点：积极预防和治疗发炎引起的颅内感染。比如说脑膜炎导致大脑皮层炎症和水肿，引起癫痫发作。后遗症期由于脑实质内瘢痕形成和脑膜粘连，也能导致癫痫发作。所以说颅内感染应该在早期诊断，积极治疗，减少后遗症和并发症的发生。
