★癫痫病患者的异常表现，皮肤异常：许多先天性或遗传性神经疾病合并癫痫发作的病人常有皮肤异常。脑面血管瘤病(Sturge-Weber综合征)在一侧面部三叉神经分布区可见片状的红色血管痣。结节性硬化症，可于鼻翼两侧及面颊部见到大小不等的浅红色或鱼肉色的皮脂腺瘤，全身可见多处散在的色素脱失斑。苯丙酮尿症病人的皮肤较白，毛发呈黄褐色。

★头颅异常：头围过小，见于脑小畸形、脑萎缩、颅缝早闭;头围过大见于脑积水、脑肿瘤、慢性硬膜下血肿及某些神经系统变性病。1岁半以前的儿童前囟饱满膨隆、紧张，多有颅内压增高。颅内压增高时可使幼儿已经闭合的颅缝重新裂开。这时叩击头部可听到破壶声。有颅内动脉瘤、动静脉畸形或快速生长的胂瘤时，于头部可听到血管杂音。婴幼儿有硬膜下积液、硬膜下血肿、脑积水、脑萎缩，颅透照试验可发现异常透光带。

★癫痫病患者的异常表现，五官异常：小眼球见于先天性风疹或弓形体感染及某些染色体病。白内障见于先天性风疹综合征、先天性弓形体感染及半乳糖血症。两眼内眦距过宽多见于先天愚型。18-三体综合征可有耳畸形及位低。脆性X染色体综合征可见耳过大。舌大而厚见于呆小病、黏多糖病。舌宽平见于先天愚型。
