4、不能强行制止癫痫发作，不要用手硬按病人的手足，这样不可能减少发作的强度。有时还可能由于用力不当，造成病人软组织损伤或骨折。限制发作，在患者抽搐时，不要用力按压或试图使患者抽搐的肢体恢复平直，以免造成韧带撕裂、关节脱臼、甚至骨折等损伤。
