3、失神发作又称为小发作：包括单纯失神发作、复杂失神发作，这也是癫痫症状的一种表现。癫痫的单纯性失神发作：癫痫症状的这种表现为患者突然停止当时的活动，手中持物坠落，意识短暂丧失，双眼瞪视不动，持续约5～15秒，无先兆和局部症状，事后立即清醒，不影响工作或学习。癫痫的复杂失神发作：除愣神外，还伴有其它动作，例如：眨眼、咂嘴、搓手指等，时间超过10秒钟。

4、癫痫的局限性发作。一侧口角、眼睑、手指、足趾或一侧面部及肢体末端短阵性抽搐或麻木刺痛，以上这些都是癫痫的早期症状。
