2、治疗联合用药比单一用药好：抗癫痫用药原则之一就是主张单一用药。联合用药易导致慢性中毒，药物之间的相互作用影响药效，增加毒副作用，并使发作变频，增加患者的经济负担。希望患者能够谨记这一点。

3、抽搐不一定是癫痫病：抽搐是癫痫的主要症状之一，但不是癫痫病的独有症状。其它疾病也可引起抽搐，如低钙抽搐、小儿高热惊厥、低血糖惊厥等，因此抽搐不一定都是癫痫病所致。所以大家不要将癫痫与抽搐等同。

4、病人不宜生育：癫痫虽有遗传性，但对下代的影响不是百分之百的。一般说来，癫痫病人的子女只有5%发生，因此他们是可以生育的。虽然我国法律未明令禁止癫痫病人生育，但从优生学的角度，病人好避免与惊厥阈值低的人结婚，病人应在病情稳定，基本控制发作后生育。
