【实验室检查】

实验室检查是根据患者症状表现，结合病史以及先前的检查资料为参考。不过癫痫患者最好可以再做一些辅助检查，便于医生的确诊。实验室检查主要用于，检查患者在治疗过程中，服用药物的副作用。帮助患者查找癫痫发作的原因。给患者做药物血药浓度测试，可以提供可靠的抗癫痫药物的血药浓度。

【癫痫的影像学检查】

主要有电子计算机断层扫描(CT)、正电子发射计算机断层(PET)、磁共振成像检查(MRI)、脑血管造影和数字减影、头颅平片等。
