继发性癫痫病也有一定的遗传性，其直系亲属发病率远远比普通人群高。从临床上分析，发生了脑外伤、患过脑炎、脑膜炎、有产伤窒息史的患者不一定都会发生该病。所以继发性癫痫病遗传概率不仅取决于环境因素的强弱，在一定程度上的也决定于先天的遗传因素，但是继发性癫痫病的遗传因素是很小的。总之，继发性癫痫病是有一定的遗传机率的，但机率引起继发性癫痫病的原因不同，遗传的可能性也不同。

癫痫是怎样型成的

1、治疗不当：癫痫治疗不当可引发癫痫频繁发作。如果患者所选的治疗方法不正确，那治疗的时间越长，就越会出现癫痫频繁发作的状况，因此患者需特别注意治疗方法的选择。

2、中途停止治疗或者更换治疗方法：如果患者在治疗过程中突然停止治疗或者更换治疗方法，都容易导致癫痫病频繁发作。这主要是由于患者及其家属对有关抗癫痫治疗的知识一知半解，害怕治疗会产生副作用，或因经济状况差等，而自行停止治疗或者更换治疗方法，殊不知这样会导致病情加重，需要花更多的钱进行治疗。

3、没有做好日常防护工作：如果患者没做好日常防护工作，在治疗中出现感染，如外感发热、肺炎，食物中毒、过度饮酒和过度劳累等状况，那就很容易导致癫痫病频繁发作。

　　虽然颅内任何部位损伤都可引起癫痫，但额后、顶叶与弥漫性脑损伤所引起的癫痫明显高于其他部位。晚期癫痫可在伤后一个月至数年之内发生，最长者达20年之久。但绝大多数病人发生在伤后半年至3年之间。一般认为伤后4年之内不发生癫痫，以后发病的机会大大减少。癫痫病做手术好吗
