5、单纯局部癫痫：上述的种类皆属于泛发性发作，也就是发作时意识丧失，和患者说话时皆无反应。但是局部发作时患者的意识清楚，和外界的互动良好。而症状可以是一手或是一脚抽动，或部分的身体有奇怪的感觉等。

6、婴儿点头痉挛：通常是发生在2岁以内的婴儿，在刚睡醒时或将入睡时，会有点头的动作，类似在打瞌睡，不过通常都是连续十几次以上，连躺在床上都可以看得出来，如果动作很大，也会合并躯干弯曲及两手前伸。

7、复杂性部分发作：通常发作之前病童会有感觉快要发作，继之以各种不自主的动作，并且丧失意识，整个人事后完全不复记忆。不自主动作可以是眨眼、咀嚼、两手漫无目的乱摸及到处走来去等等。整个发作时间超过一分钟。
