1、热性惊厥后遗：持久严重性热性惊厥可致使神经元缺失，增生胶质细胞，造成大脑损损，主要表现在颞叶的内侧面，特别在海马体上。

2、围产期损伤：由于生产过程不顺利造成的产伤、胎儿窒息、颅内出血及宫内发育不良等围产期损伤，是比较常见的儿童继发性羊角风疾病原因。

3、颅内感染：各种由细菌病毒感染造成的脑炎、脑膜炎及因寄生虫感染导致的脑囊虫病、脑血吸虫病、脑肺吸虫病以及脑型疟疾等皆为继发性羊角风疾病原因。

4、颅脑损伤：开放性脑损伤、重度大脑损伤及凹陷性的骨折、外伤后出现意识障碍、在损伤数周内出现早期痫性病发患者，较易出现后遗羊角风。

5、颅内肿瘤：脑胶质瘤、脑膜瘤、颅咽管瘤、转移瘤等颅内肿瘤疾病和脑血管疾病，比如脑出血、脑缺血、脑梗塞及脑血栓等都会造成该类病症发生。
