4、脑血管病:出血及缺血性脑血管病均可引起癫痫。病后1年左右开始发生癫痫的约有5%。

5、脑囊虫、大脑发育不良:主要是先天脑不完全发育和后天因为饮食不当等引起的脑囊虫，也包括后天性脑萎宿。

6、高热:儿童严重或频繁的高热惊厥容易造成局部脑缺氧或水肿，日后形成癫痫灶而致病。
