2、部疾病引起癫痫发作:脑肿瘤、脑血管病、颅内感染等是常见的引发癫痫的原因,尤其是成年以后的晚发性癫痫,所占比例数就更高些.由于脑瘤的生长,压迫或影响周围脑组织及其血管,产生脑水肿、肿胀、缺氧、缺血、脑组织硬化或萎缩,导致这些神经细胞的代谢异常及膜电位的改变,往往在内源性或外源性因素刺激下,就会产生异常放电,引发癫痫发作.

3、外伤引起的癫痫发作:据有关资料统计,在癫痫病人中,大约三分之一有头部外伤病史.毫无疑问,脑外伤确实是主要的引发癫痫的原因.就脑外伤本身来说,病人在脑外伤后发生癫痫的仍是少数,脑外伤后大约有5%的病人出现癫痫发作.分娩时造成的脑外损伤,是儿童时期癫痫发作的重要原因.脑部手术后引发的癫痫,一般取决于手术创伤、局部水肿、神经细胞代谢紊乱等因素.

4、全身因素引起癫痫疾病发作:如一氧化碳中毒、急慢性肾功能衰竭、低血糖、低血钙、高血压脑病、胰岛腺瘤、甲状腺功能亢进,以及各种全身感染、维生素B6缺乏等等,均可引起癫痫疾病发作.长期服用催眠药,嗜酒突然戒断,或抗痫药突然停服后,也可以引起癫痫疾病发作.
