首先是先兆期。约有14%的病人有先兆，在意识丧失前感到胃部不适、头晕等。

其次是强直期。病人突然丧失、跌倒在地，全身肌肉强直收缩，头向后仰，双上肢屈曲强直，双下肢强直伸直。由于膈肌和肋间肌强直收缩，将肺内空气压出，而喉头肌肉此时也痉挛狭窄。此时，病人瞳孔散大，对光反射消失，呼吸暂停，面色紫绀，持续约数十秒后，转为阵挛期。

然后是阵挛期。全身肌肉发生有节律的抽动。由于咀嚼肌抽动而常将舌或口腔粘膜咬破，口吐血沫。四肢抽动先快而小，继之慢而大，最后停止，持续1-3分钟。

最后是恢复期阵挛停止后，病人仍处于昏睡状态，经十多分钟至半小时后意识逐渐恢复。清醒后，病人对发作过程不能回忆，自觉头痛乏力，肌肉酸痛。

你没想过的癫痫病的小发作表现

一般来说癫痫的小发作主要的表现：短暂意识丧失为病人典型的表现，意识完全丧失为大多数，也有的意识障碍较浅，能听见问话，对周围有所了解，但不能回答。其特点为意识障碍短暂而频发。每次发作多数为2-15秒，一般不超过1分钟，数次至数十次每日出现。表现为突然发生，然后突然终止。这种癫痫病的症状突然性、频率性比较高。

有的患者癫痫病症状也是比较严重的。突然中断言语及活动，两眼凝视，偶尔上翻，无先兆，有时面色苍白。无法完全控制自己，因为会被父母误认为精力不集中，所以常遭责备。发作停止后，原来的活动继续。癫痫病的小发作以儿童常见，成年人罕见，大部分于学龄前期至青春期起病。癫痫小发作与遗传有关。所以婚配时，要避免双方都有癫痫病症状。
