因有血瘀、痰浊阻络的标实证在，故治疗方面最宜标本谦顾，而健脾化痰、益气活血、育阴通络、滋阴潜阳、填精补髓等都是常用的治法。事实上，羊羔疯发作期多为时短暂，规律性的治疗难以按病期考虑，治疗的时间以休止期为主，所以对休止期的辩证治疗十分重要。
