四、神经因素：是很重要的发病因素。神经过度紧张，突然受到惊吓，心情长期抑郁，过分的激动、愤怒、伤感等对人造成神经刺激和神经创伤，形成发病的内环境。

五、外伤：成人闭合性脑外伤后约有百分之五发生癫痫病，重症及开放性脑外伤后约有百分之三十发生癫痫病。
