2、既往史：也就是说患者在癫痫病发病前得过什么病，特别是与中枢神经系统有关的疾病，如热性惊厥、脑外伤、各种感染、寄生虫、co中毒、脑血管意外等。

3、现病史：现病史主要包括癫痫病患者的发病时间长短，每次癫痫病的发作都是由哪些促发因素导致的，以及癫痫病的发作序和发作持续的时间，严重程度等。需要注意的是，癫痫病的首次发作情况很重要，做为家长、病人或知情人都必须做详细的交代，这些详细准确的资料对于癫痫病的准确诊断有很重要的作用。

4、个人史：个人史包括孕妇妊娠期，尤其是早期有无感染、有毒物质、、流产等对胎儿发育起不良作用的情况。癫痫患儿在围产期有没有出现窒息、缺氧、颅内感染，是否进行的剖腹产，以及患儿以后的智力等情况的发展。
