(2)如果发现患者有先兆症状时，癫痫病的护理措施是迅速让患者平卧床上，或就近躺在平整的地方。即使来不及做上述安排，发现患者要倒时，应立即扶着患者，顺势让其倒下，防止突然摔倒造成的损伤。

(3)患者强直期头多过度后仰，下颌过张，可造成颈椎压缩性骨折，或下颌脱臼。这时应一手托着患者枕部稍用力，以阻止其颈部过伸，一手托下颌，以对抗其下颌过张。

(4)癫痫大发作时呼吸道分泌物较多，易造成呼吸道阻塞或吸入性肺炎。自大发作开始，癫痫病的护理措施应将患者头侧向一方，以便分泌物自然流出。此外，应将患者衣领及扣子解开，保持呼吸道通畅。

(5)阵挛期患者四肢肌肉收缩，易造成关节脱臼和四肢擦伤。这时可适当用力按压四肢大关节处，限制其抽动幅度。但是不要用力过猛，强行按压，否则会造成骨折或肌肉损伤。
