1、心理护理

2、治疗护理

对绝大多数癫痫来说，药物治疗仍然是主要的治疗措施。服药是长期的，在服药过程中，可能发生副作用，因此家长必须了解所服药物可能发生副作用的表现,拜泉天气，及时复诊，定期进行临床和化验监测(血药物浓度)。不可随意换药、减药、停药，否则会使发作加重或发生癫痫持续状态而危及生命。

3、发作时护理

首先应了解癫痫发作前先兆。如果患儿在院外突然发作，应迅速将其卧倒，注意保护头部及四肢，速将衣领、裤带松开，以利呼吸道通畅。取侧卧位，伸颈，下颌向前，避免舌根下坠堵塞气管而窒息。要防止下颌关节脱位、舌肌咬伤、坠床及肢体擦伤、骨折和脱臼。对精神运动性发作，注意保护，防止自伤、伤人和走失。每次发作后均应及时就医，在医生的指导下调整治疗方案。但如本次发作时间比以往长或频繁抽搐等异常情况应立即就诊。

4、饮食护理

有些人指出某些食物可能会引起癫痫发作，因此对癫痫发作儿童的饮食有很多限制。不许癫痫发作儿童吃肉、吃鸡蛋、吃虾等，这些都是没有科学根据的。癫痫发作儿童应与一般儿童一样吃家常便饭，且食品应多样化，平衡饮食。但要注意饮食要有规律，切忌暴饮暴食，少食辛辣食物。有时饥饿会诱发癫痫发作，同样过饱也是癫痫发作的诱因。适当限制饮水量，因为癫痫的发作可能与水、钠潴留有关。但夏季，水盐的摄入应适量增加。
