　　当癫痫病发作的时候，我们一定不要惊慌，一定要让患者平躺下来，将它们的衣领和腰带解开，找一个软绵绵的夹在他们的牙齿中间，用来保护他们的舌头和牙齿，在她们的身体抽搐的时候一定不要强行按住他们的，这样会造成身体部位的损伤，如果见不到好转，一定要尽快送到医院进行治疗，想办法停止癫痫病的发作。

　　作为患者的家属一定要对患者进行监督，使其按时按量准确的服用药物，癫痫的治疗是一个长期的过程减药的时间需要数年的时间，要是在短期内突然的停药往往会使病情加重，停药是一个缓慢的过程，还有可能有的人需要终身服药才能制止癫痫病的发作。

　　癫痫大发作的护理是非常的重要的，生活应该比一般的人有规律，尽量避免劳累紧张的工作，经常多吃一些有营养有规律的食物，尽量不要在危险场所进行玩耍，不要从事高强度的工作。抽搐发作时患者牙关紧闭，此时不要强行撬开患者的牙关，以免牙齿脱落阻塞呼吸道，可用力抵住患者的下颌，减少舌咬伤的机会。

　　癫痫病是一种慢性疾病，躯体的痛苦、家庭的歧视、社会的偏见，严重影响癫痫病患者的身心健康，患者常感到紧张、情绪不稳等，时刻担心再次发病，家庭成员应经常给予关心、帮助、爱护，针对思想顾虑及时给予疏导，使其有一个良好的生活环境。

　　癫痫患者发作起始，由于突发意识丧失，患者不能保持发病前的体位，容易突然倒地。如发病时旁边有人，应尽量做好保护，不要让患者头部突然着地，避免跌倒或者摔伤。如果发作时猝倒，并且很频繁，这种情况主要多见于某些儿童癫痫患者，必要时需要戴头盔，避免头部的摔伤。
