癫痫患者若是康复的比较好的话，要嘱患者不要从事高空作业及潜水、假释或有危险的机械操作工作等，因为这样很容易让疾病恶化，此外生活当中，要保持乐观情绪，生活、工作应有规律;发现病情异常变化应及时复诊。

要嘱患者外出随身携带病情卡片(写明疾病、姓名、地址、联系电话)，以便疾病发作时取得联系，便于抢救。发作控制不佳音不要单独外出，防止发生意外。

癫痫患者夏季不宜大量饮用冷开水、冷饮料，防止血液中药物浓度下降，降低治疗效果。

此外，癫痫准妈妈若是需要长期服用抗癫晌药物，最好终止妊娠，防止胎儿畸形。因为这样对胎儿不利，可加重遗传几率。
