让癫痫患儿跟其他学生一样感到安全、被接受、有学习积极性，需要教育部门、学生、家长做出共同努力。

家长应加强与医生和教师的沟通，讨论最佳反应措施;学校应将癫痫教育作为选修课程，从癫痫机构聘请专业医生进行讲座，包括：癫痫病人急救;癫痫基础信息及其治疗;如何接受癫痫;如何为残疾人改善学校环境等。

学校里的任何人遇到癫痫发作时都要做出适当反应，如果第一目击者反应不当，不但会造成患者的医学并发症，并且会给患者带来更大的窘迫或恐惧，这些负性感觉可能增加精神紧张，影响学表现，甚至增加发作频率。
