　　癫痫什么情况发病，对于癫痫患者来说，一但药物治疗对控制病情不理想，就可以考虑进行手术治疗，以达到控制癫痫发作的目的。由于癫痫是由于脑神经细胞反复异常放电引起的各种症状。而异常放电的起始区就是引起癫痫的癫痫灶，如果能够利用手术的方法切除引起发作的癫痫灶，就可以根除癫痫，控制发作。

该如何预防高热惊厥转为癫痫呢

高热惊厥是指1个月到6岁的小孩子在没有颅内感染或中毒的前提下，在上呼吸道感染或其他感染性疾病初期，没体温在38度以上时突然发生的惊厥。不包括那些没有发热时也有抽搐的患者。

高热惊厥通常表现为全身性强直-阵挛发作，不归属于癫痫综合征，但与癫痫的关系比较密切。有学者从遗传学角分析，认为高热惊厥实际上是癫痫的一个类型;或并非所有发热惊厥都是癫痫，但至少有一部分是癫痫，可称为热源性癫痫，就如同光、声刺激而诱发的癫痫一样。高热惊厥与癫痫的另一联系在于惊厥性脑损伤。据对已转变为癫痫患儿的回顾性统一性发现，40%-70%病例的首次无热惊厥发生在高热惊厥发作后1年内，37%-77%出现在3年内，85%出现在4年内。有时无热惊厥与高热惊厥交替发病，最终转变为癫痫。

高热惊厥发展为癫痫的危险因素主要有：①原有神经系统发育异常;②有癫痫家族史;③首次发作伴有复杂性高热惊厥的表现。如果只有一项危险因素，到7岁时有1%-2%发生癫痫，7%有发热惊厥的孩子以后会有癫痫发作，比正常儿童群多5倍。如果是单纯性发热惊厥，发生癫痫的可能性仅为2%-4%。如发生过一次复杂性发热惊厥，发生癫痫的几率仅占6%-8%;如果发生过两次复杂性发热惊厥，则这种危险性可上升到7%-22%;如果有三次复杂性发热惊厥，则危险性为49%。如果患儿有癫痫家庭史，病人以后很可能出现没有促发因素的癫痫发作。
