3、肌抽跃性发作

这种类型的癫痫发作较难以言语描述。举例来说，若是我们冷不防被别人从背后大叫一声而吓了一跳，所产生的那种全身抖了一下的动作，就是一种全身性的肌抽跃性发作。

4、失张力性发作

可想像一个原本用线操纵的木偶，突然间线全部断掉的情况。患童便像这断线的木偶般，突然全身无力的倒下。

5、单纯局部癫痫

上述的种类皆属于泛发性发作，也就是发作时意识丧失，和患者说话时皆无反应。但是局部发作时患者的意识清楚，和外界的互动良好。而症状可以是一手或是一脚抽动，或部分的身体有奇怪的感觉等。

6、婴儿点头痉挛

通常是发生在2岁以内的婴儿，在刚睡醒时或将入睡时，会有点头的动作，类似在打瞌睡，不过通常都是连续十几次以上，连躺在床上都可以看得出来，如果动作很大，也会合并躯干弯曲及两手前伸。
