什么是眼睑肌阵挛癫痫：眼睑肌阵挛癫痫综合征的标志性特点是眼睑肌阵挛，而不是失神。眼睑肌阵挛包括明显的眼睑抽动，常常还伴随眼球向上的抽动和头部的后缩，伴随有或其后跟随轻微的意识损害。这种发作是短暂的，主要在合眼后发生，且每天发作很多次。这就可以粗布判断为眼睑肌阵挛癫痫。

眼睑肌阵挛癫痫发作的表现症状：

1、进餐性发作:眼睑肌阵挛癫痫患者早期疾病容易在进餐时间发作，这与食物对于患者的味觉、嗅觉的影响有关系，这种原因引起的癫痫发作时间比较短，一般持续时间仅数秒钟，患者发作时一般表现为摔碎碗筷等行为为主。大家不要以为患者是不小心打碎的，这是疾病的前兆。

2、失张力发作:此病的早期症状还表现为患者由于肌肉张力的消失突然出现跌倒的情况。

3、突然呕吐：此病的早期症状是患者的突然呕吐，一般呕吐时间比较短也就一两分钟就结束，而且没有其他的伴随症状，因此很容易以为是消化系统类的疾病。

4、失神:此病的早期症状有患者突然出现失神状况，患者一般两眼无神直视前方，不理睬其他人的呼唤，很容易被误以为患者故意这样、在开玩笑等。都为眼睑肌阵挛癫痫发作时的症状。
