癫痫持续发作的原因有哪些?

1、抗癫痫药物的停用或换药：是慢性癫痫出现持续状态最常见的原因;

2、用药不当无论是特发性癫痫还是症状性癫痫，如果在治疗过程中突然停药或任意更换抗癫痫药，都容易导致癫痫持续状态的发生。在发生癫痫持续状态的患者中，约有1/4是由于突然中断药物治疗或随意更换抗癫痫药物而引起的。这主要是由于患者及其家属对有关抗癫痫药的知识一知半解，害怕药物的副作用，或为了服药方便，或因经济状况差等，而自行改变服药方法或随意减少用量，导致癫痫持续状态的发生。

3、酗酒和苯二氮焯类药物中断：也是常见的原因;

4、头部外伤、中枢神经系统的感染、脑梗死和脑出血、肿瘤、药物滥用等均可引起癫痫持续状态。

5、其他疾病引起主要由感染，如外感发热、肺炎、败血症、痢疾、泌尿系系统感染等引起的中毒性脑病而致持续状态;由脑外伤、脑肿瘤、脑血管病等引起的也不少见。

6、神经系统疾病的首发症状，尤其是在儿童，将近10%的首次癫痫发作(特别是热性惊厥)既为癫痫持续状态。

7、其他原因食物中毒、药物中毒、饮酒、过度劳累、妊娠、分娩等是引起癫痫持续状态的常见原因。
