脑肿瘤是常见的癫痫病的发病原因之一，特别是成年之后的被称为晚发性的癫痫，所占的比例更高。各种脑炎、脑膜炎等这些疾病，可导致大脑皮层炎症和水肿，引起癫痫发作。后遗症期由于脑实质内瘢痕形成和脑膜粘连，也能导致癫痫发作。所以脑部感染应及时诊断，积极治疗，减少后遗症和并发症的发生。
