当患者处于在意识丧失或者是全身抽搐，首先要做的就是保护患者的舌头，同时将衣服折成条或者使用块状物包裹衣服防御患者的上下白齿中间，以便能免去患者咬伤舌头及颊部，当患者强直期张口再次放入，阵挛期间不要强行放入，避免造成患者局部伤害。同时让患者平卧，松开衣领，头转向一侧，头位稍低、伸颈、下颚向前，有利于呼吸道分泌物及呕吐物出来，防止流入气管引起呛咳窒息，守在患者设变等待救援的人员到来。积极治疗，预防控制发作，是给孩子安心的定心丸。孩子害怕是正常的，平时需要多陪伴孩子，和孩子一起学习预防控制办法及发作时的自我保护
